September 22, 2025 - Fly to Lunch at Cape May |
||||||
| It was a beautiful flying day this Monday so those of us who like to hang out at Essex Skypark decided to fly to Cape May for lunch. It's what we do. Mark and Chuck would be flying their RVs. Brian is riding with Chuck and I'm flying the Super D since my RV is not operational. | ||||||

I took off about ten minutes before the two RVs. The 1977 Super Decathelon has good speed -- around 120 mph -- so I should arrive at Cape May at the same time as the RVs.

I quickly lost sight of the RVs. No worries, I was planning to fly the New Jersey marshlands anyway. Now heading north up the eastern shore of the Delaware Bay. |

| The marshes were very pretty today. This year I missed the prime season in July when the grass is a bright velvet green. | ||||||
